但是我不是很明白,为什么说卖相的什么的,是用look,不用appearance

LOOK is a particicular fashion or a particular combination of clothes,hair etc that someone chooses.
IMAGE is the appearance and character that someone deliberately tries to produce by dressing or behaveing in a particular way.
郁闷,那为什么Her long straight hair and dark eye make-up give her a sort of late-sixties look.中时用look而不能用image.
