Today is World Water Day.I participated in a series of activities calling for water-saving on World Water Day which was quite a meaningful.We held a class meeting from 10 o’clock.After heated discussion,we were going to prepare the afternoon’s activities with some agreements reached.
At 2:00 pm,we went to the community.By giving out the leaflets,we supposed to lead everyone in the community to know the importance of water conservation.An hour having past,an old expert we invited gave a speech on the water crisis in China meeting the need to popularize the present situation of world water that made most people around the world feel pessimistic about it.
After the speech,we had a discussion with our neighbors about practical ways to save water in our daily life.I suggested we should turn off the tap after use and a girl showed her idea that reusing the water was equally vital.
It was realty an unforgettable experience for I did my best to call on the importance of saving the water,I will bear today’s memory all the time.
