Ladies and Gentlemen,good afternoon!I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech.Today,I want to say something about “Don’t be shy to ask for help.”
Once upon a time ,there was a desolate place far away from the sea .Two hungry people met an old man.They got a fishing rod and a huge basket of fresh fish from him.
One person got a basket of fish,the other got a fishing rod,then they said goodbye to each other.
The man who got the fish made fire with dry wood to cook fish.He ate quickly then he had nothing to eat.He died soon.
The other was hungry.He took the fishing rod and went to the sea.When he saw the blue sea,he was very tired.He also died on the beach.
No matter what you choose,the fish or the fishing rod,if we don’t get help from each other,the result is the same——death.
In this human society,we can’t have all the knowledge and skills.
You can’t cook better than cook,wash clothes better than laundry maid,sew better than tailor .You just do well the things you are good at.
Other things,other people do better than you.
So,don’t be shy to ask for help.
Because,even Jesus ,also need angles to help him spread love and peace.
When we face the difficult things in our study,in learning.I think sometimes we can try to get help from our friends,our teachers,our parents or sisters and brothers.They can help you.
Learning to get help is very useful when we grow up.We need to try it.Because it’ s important to help others.It’s also important to get help from others.
