1. 这个题的to pool中的to是call on sb. to do sth. 的搭配用法（号召某人做某事）.to fund中的to 表目的（为了.).

2. Beneficial to people's health, jogging is very popular nowadays. 为什么用beneficial这个形容词?形容词引导出的状语,表原因.

3. Oxygen, when combined with two hydrogens, forms water. 为什么用combined?前面没有was啊?combined前省略it is.

4. The employees were required to take these refresher courses to be qualified for their job.请问to后加be qualified是什么意思啊?to在这里表作用、目的.to后面接原形,所以用了be.而be qualified 是指参加前面的课程能使员工胜任他们的工作.

5. The position he wanted having been occupied, he failed again in his job hunting. 请问wanted后面怎么用having been的结构?怎么理解?
   he wanted在这里是定语从句,形容the position,与后面的having been没有必然的联系,甚至抽掉he wanted也不影响句子结构.整个The position having been occupied作为动名词结构,起状语作用.这里不直接用The positon has been occupied,是因为后面的he failed是一个完整句子,所以前面不用完整句子结构,而改用动名词结构,避免同一句中出现两个句子.
