NO.1:37 ,37=17+21 -2,for the two different counting,we count both monitor and Mary twice,there is an extra 2 here.
NO.2 :4 .May; Obviously,the dates for the same weekday like Tuesday is in sequential series,like it's Sunday on May 23,2010,so 16(23-7) and 30(23+7) of May are also Sunday.So let x be the first Tuesday of May,then the other 3 Tuesdays will be x+7,x+14 and x+21,then we have the following equation:
x+ x+7 +x+14 +x+21 =58,from which we can get x is 4
