The topic,Discover Yourself,reminds me of such a verse:
“Your presence is a gift to the world.You’re unique and one of a kind.”
Dating back to over 1000 years ago,Han Yu,who is in the list of Eight Great Literature Masters In Tang And Song Dynasty,ever gave such words:It is always said that swift horses are usually found but not as the same as Pak Lot.Pak Lot,the one that has great judgements to spot the Long Distance Running Horses,was like a blue moon in Chinese feudal monarchy society.For this reason,lots of great men living in that time were covered.So Li Bai was lost deeply in drinking.Dong Po turned to the south,remaining only a brooding shadow.And Zhangji could only get comfort through the groomy sound of the clock……
It is pathetic that their excellence hadn’t been found in the time of their lives until another new centery came.
But today,their tragedies won’t be performed anymore.In such a world of modernization,such a world of civilization,every single soul shall have a chance to prove their value.So you can see the disabled show their strength and strong wills on Paralympic stages,while those adventurous ones reach the top of the world Qomolangma after suffering the slings and errors of outrageous fortune,and a black man won the presidential election in the Whites’ society.What they made are not miracles.They just have a brief in their value and discover the real themselves deep in hearts,which can be done by every one of us.
Discover yourself and be who you really are.You are only able to live once to realize your dream.So do you seriously prefer to be numb for whole life,wandering among shapes of men with fear and confusion rather than discover who you really are and reach for what you want?Of course not.Because you and I have read enough stories that so many people lost their dreams and gave in to the reality,living a plain life with a world of regrets.This is the last thing we wish happen.What we want is be more like ourselves and be less like others.
Discover yourself and never put limits on yourself.There are no boundaries above or beneth you when you’re reaching for goals with all hearts.Persist,have courage,be strong,as what Phelps and his 8-gold-medal record showed,you will finally make it.
Some people say pearls are everywhere but not as the same as the eyes.But I trust that the pearl is like the potential inside and we can discover it and dig it out with our eyes.The world has promised every one a bright future,What we need to do is just pave the way towards it with our own hands.
