During the winter vacation,the students in our class joined in the meaningful activity,in which all of us did our bit for community.
Although the Spring Festival was approaching,there were some old people who live alone.We went to an old lady’s home and gave her a hand to make the house tidy to invite the Spring Festival.Some of us cleaned the floor and the table,while others tidied the window and door,so that the lady can sit down and had a rest in the process of talking one of us.All works finished,we went outside to the sports center.The sports facilities were covered by the dusts.In no time we worked hard to make them clean.We also found there were litters on the path.Tired as we were,without hesitate,we picked them up in the rubbish pocket.At last delighted as we were to see the cleaned community environment,we put up new years decorations on the bulletin board and a streamer with the word Happy Spring Festival.
It truly was a very good experience,from which we made our society clean and helped others.More importantly,while making contributions to our society,we knew that giving is the source of happiness.
