I am terribly sorry that I missed the first part of your class this morning. Now I am writing to explain to you what happened.
At 6:45 this morning, I was waiting for the bus to school at the stop when an old man standing nearby fell onto the ground. I came closer and found he had fainted. Fortunately, a doctor, who happened to be there, started to give first aid to him. Meanwhile I dialed 120. We didn’t leave the man until the ambulance came 10 minutes later, and that’s why I was 7 minutes late for class.
