人家说的不错,hang up on somebody 是一个固定用法,= to end a telephone conversation before it is finished.就是挂某人电话的意思； hang up本身也是一个固定用法,但它的意思：
1.To suspend on a hook or hanger.；
2.a).To replace (a telephone receiver) on its base or cradle.
b).To end a telephone conversation.
3 a) To delay or impede; hinder.
b) To become halted or snagged.
c) To have or cause to have emotional difficulties or inhibitions.
