I don't think I remember what was the first time I did something wrong in my life and I doubt anyone does,but as far as I can guess,I suppose it was when I accidentally broke my neighbour's window while playing soccer with a couple of friends.It was a good Friday afternoon and we were off earlier from school on Fridays.I felt like putting together a soccer game with my boys at my neighbourhood.What was good about my neighbourhood was that we had a parking lot where there was no cars and busy traffics on Friday afternoons.We arrived the place and played wildly.I guess I was too excited and I kicked the ball too hard.Unfortunately I didn't realize that until it flew right toward a window.The next thing I knew was that the window cracked and fell down the ground to pieces.Somehow I got the sense that I was sure I was dead.One of my friends who I considered him as an intelligent guy yelled at me,"We gotta go!Nobody's around!" It's always easier to run away but I didn't feel good about it.However as a child,I was scared and I chose to sneak out of the place.I couldn't stop thinking about it and I still felt guilty when I got home.I told the story to my parents after supper.They took me to apologize right away.A meeting was arranged to settle things down at the neighbour's suite.My parents attended the meeting as well.We were offered to fix the window in short and apology was accepted eventually.I asked to check if they have any other damages in their apartment and they said no.So it was all good then.What I learnt from this accident was that integrity is everything.If you get things finished,I believe you will feel a relief.
