Dear Anna,
Have you seen my photos?On the first day,it took us nearly three hours to reach the top of the Great Wall.Standing there,I really understood the old saying:you are not a hero unless you climb the Great Wall.I couldn’t help wondering how the Chinese people were able to build it thousands of years ago,without any modern machines.The Great Wall is more than 6,000 kilometers long and is 4-5 meters wide.To be honest,it makes me really proud of being Chinese!
The next day,we spent the whole day visiting the Tian’anmen Square,the His-tory Museum and the People’s Hall.
On the third day,we visited the Olympic Village.There I bought the mascots for the Beijing 2008 Olympics.If you put their names together —Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni(北京欢迎你),it means "Welcome to Beijing!"
I had a really wonderful trip!
