其实这句话有这么一个意思：On that day my home town was liberated.
On that day时间状语,没有在原句的从句中体现出来.所以用when
考虑这个句子Yesterday I visited the hospital where I was born.也是定语从句
有这么一个意思：In that hospital I was born.
In that hospital地点状语,没有在原句的从句中体现出来.所以用where
I'll never forget the days which/that we spent together last winter.
有这么一个层意思：We spent the days together last winter.
上面这句话的days作宾语,而在从句中没有出现作宾语的days
I'll never forget the bombing that nearly killed me.
有这么一个意思：the bombing nearly killed me.
这里bombing作主语,但是从句中没有作主语的bombing,所以用that
1. 看到这层意思：A kind of dog-friendly food will help dog owners cool down their pets.
属于“没有出现作主语的A kind of dog-friendly food”,选C
2. 看到这层意思：The old building was broken down last year.
属于“没有出现作主语的The old building“,选A
3. 看到这层意思：You can use the information about the famous people for the report.
这里的宾语主干是information,属于”没有出现作宾语的information“,选D
