Various Dreams
First of all, I would like to report the results of an investigation that I did a few days ago. My question is “What is your dream?”
Number one, Niconic from DP1 said “I dream of being the most superb and unique guitar player in the world!” Number two, Stephanie from the next class laughed and said” I wish to be a rich lady.” Another girl, she is much older than me asked “Sharing happiness with people, is that a dream?” I was surprised, and cried out said “Absolutely! Why don’t?” And the very last one, he said “I want to be a cartoonist; I want to be a cartoonist who can educate the world; I want to be a cartoonist who can pull the Chinese cartoon fraternity together!” This guy is sitting in front of me and he is very very interested in drawing, including drawing himself. He is our Alan, from pre_year10_1.
That’s right! We are at the age of dreaming. Whatever dreams we have are not important. What’s important is that you should have your own dream. Some of them could be splendid; it also could be tiny and peaceful. Many of us may never think about what our dreams really are, neither do I. But now, as a pre_year10 student in DP it’s the right time to have dreams. Dreams are the power of life. Do you have such an experience that you want to do something in the best or make the wishes become true? That is a kind of dream that you may never realize, and it only exists for a very short moment, but it could cheer you up! That’s the power of living a better life.
But how should we make the dream come true? Basically, you should be independent, and optimistic. Well, later in my life I know that the same will be true for me. Life is not always easy for everybody. Only by working hard and being fearless of failure you can overcome difficulties to reach your real dreams.
As a very popular saying goes, “no pain, no gain.” Bring your dreams up and work hard in the following days. You will succeed one day, and appreciate for your particular dreams.
