The basic prerequisite of success for any community is the education of its citizens.Because the advantages of high school education in my town are presently available to only a limited number of students every year,I wholeheartedly support the construction of a new school facility to serve our community.
A high school will enable more local children to acquire education of high school.The skills taught in high school including advanced math,analysis,and high-level reading and writing are important to every citizen,no matter what profession they later choose.Even if they are manual laborers,the ability to critically analyze problems taught in high school will make them better and more adept workers.Nevertheless,there are three middle schools in town but only one high school.Because the number of applicants to the single high school far exceeds the available spaces in the high school,only the richest and most qualified students are capable of getting into high school.A new high school,by providing more accessible spaces,will moderate the fierce competition.
Meanwhile,there will be more local students with the opportunity to attend college and receive higher education after the establishment of the new high school.We now live in a world in which knowledge is accumulated by multiplying and at the same time,the minds of human are swiftly developing and the skills people need to be possessed are increasing as well.A college is the best place for people to learn how to adapt to the world.For this reason,a college degree not only means a decent,high-paying job,it is also the need of our present era.If more local students are sent to college,our neighborhood will be more readily to copy with the challenges that spring up with the present era,and keep up with the pace of it
Finally,the proposed high school can prevent juvenile crimes in part.In the past,owing to the limitation of only one high school in our town,there were many unemployed youths who graduate from middle school with nothing to do,leading to a high potential crime rate.They might be tempted to commit crimes,use drugs,or ,if they were girls,engage in prostitution.Giving these children another option would both sane them and help society.
