在没打提纲,没做任何准备,计时的情况下写的,语法错也没改,也没写完 要是考试碰上没写过的题估计就这样儿了...不知能不能有2分呢?
"It is the artist,not the critic,* who gives society something of lasting value."*a person who evaluates works of art,such as novels,films,music,paintings,etc.
Some people hold the opinion that artist gives our society something of lasting value,but not critics.I agree with this opinion to some extent.It is true that critic can not contribute real value to our society.However critics also make an important role in the process that artists bring lasting value to the society.What’s more,not only artists,but people in many field can contribute lastiong value to the society.
Admittedly,the process of artists composing needs critics.When artists bring their creation to our society,it is critics that can judge the value of artist’s creation.Without their work,there will be no authority to distingrish the difference between different art composary.Such example can be giving easily.When we decide to buy a composary,we need to know the true value of it from athestic value,relistic value and history value.Critics can make an important role in the process of judge the true value according to their experience.Without them,all art composary will be almost the same.Also,artists can promote the development of art.When an artist does their job,critics’ job is to look for problems from their work and give convincing advice.Thus,we could conclude that in the process of art comosing,critics’ work is also significant.
However,it is unwise to ascribe too much contribion to critics,since in this process,it is artist that givessociety something of lasting value.Time passed by,the critics’ work will be forgotten by the society.What remain is the composary of those artists.The picture drawed by Picaso were remianed which worth hundred-million dollors which those critics who judge Picaso’s picture before has been forgotten by us.It is the picture that becomes a lasting value of our society but not the judgement about this picture.
In the second place,too mach criticisms on art will ditort the artists’ own attitude toward his composary at the same time they guide it.
Another point I want to mention is that it is not only artist that can give our society something of lasting value,but many people in other fields.Scientists do much research,and finally bring the result of the research to our society and develop the technology of our society.All the things we use in our daily life,automobile,airconditionor,computer can not exist without scientists’ work.There are also many examples can be giving.All in all,people in many field contribute much to our society and give it something of lasting value.

还行吧,个人觉得3分还是有的.GRE是考逻辑的,argument写的很好的话,issue差点,最后总分也不会太差,大部分中国学生的issue都不是很强.如果楼主在argument上下了功夫,总分上不用太担心.
