非常抱歉我的报告让你失望了.
在第一学期我修了你的课并且拿到了A,但这门课我还是无法学好.重修后我曾经认真听课,有不明白的问同学,但还是无法解决问题.
在期末你留了一个月给我们做报告,时间已经非常充足了,但由于一些公司和家里的事,我没有认真去做报告.
现在我还要准备下个星期的一次presentation,在这里再一次向你道歉.

Dear professor:
I'm very sorry that my report disappointed you. In the first semester I selected your course and got an A, but I still not capable to learn it well. During the retaking I listened very carefully and asked my classmates about what I didn't fully understand. But the problem remains.
At the end of the semester you gave us one month for our report and it should be enough for us to finish it. But I didn't take it seriously because of some affairs of my company and family.
Now I have to prepare for a presentation next week, so please accept my apology once again.
