考研最后几天,英语求解答!满意再追加100,也许拿金币换知识太廉价了,但小弟我再次真心感谢,具体见补充

前面先是定语重句我理解,正在形成的欧洲正是“ its peoples, their cultures and national identities.” 引号里不懂啊,为什么一个its一个their?还有national identities是否应该翻译为“国家认可”?

这里就一个问题,就是a fact underlied.这句话是同位语?虽然就其结构看除了同位语没别的解释了,但想不通他和谁同啊,读不出来,难不成是前面的例子和后面的fact成同位语?
