1)It is given that the cross-section of a prism is a square and the height of the prism is 7 cm . If the lateral surface area of the prism is 112 c㎡ ,find
a)the length of the square,

2)A lead cuboid whichis 18 cm long, 15 cm wide,and 12 cm hight is melted and recast into a solid with a unifrom cross-section. The cross-sectional area of the solid is 90 c㎡. Find the height of the new solid .

1.一个棱柱横截面处是正方形,棱柱的高是7厘米.如果棱柱的侧面积是112 c㎡,找到
①正方形的长
②棱柱的体积
①∵棱柱的横截面积是正方形的,棱柱的高是7cm.侧面积为112cm²
∴112/4=28cm² 28/7=4cm
∴正方形的长为4cm
②∵V=s·h
∴V=4²x7=112cm³
2.一个18cm长,15cm宽,12cm高的长方体,融化重铸成一个新的横截面均相同的立方体.这个立方体的横截面为90cm².找出这个新立方体的高.
V长方体=18x15x12=3240cm³
V新=3240=90·h
∴h=36cm
