1.如果是单独的other,则其做形容词,其后必须加名词的复数形式.
且上下文没有限定的范围,为泛指.
这时,other + 名词复数 = others 其他的人/物（们）
如：Don't laugh at other people.= Don't laugh at others.
2.the other有两种用法.
1）one...,the other (one/名词单数)...
(两者中）一者...,另外一者.
如：I have two friends.One is Tom,and the other (one/friend) is Lucy.
2）the other + 名词复数 = the others
上下文有限定范围,为特指.
如：There are forty students in my class.Twenty students are boys,and the others are girls.
