　　On the surface of the green building there are solar panels．The solar panels take in the sun’s energy and change it into electricity．The lights in the green building can be off by themselves when people leave the rooms．The building has lots of windows．This makes people use the sun for light instead of house lights during the day．Water can be reused in the green building．The building takes water from the rains and uses it in the toilets．

　　Now not everyone lives in the green building．But we can make ordinary homes greener．We can turn off the tap when we’re not using it and turn off lights when we’re not in the rooms．
