Hi,Grown-up,As a student of your age,I understand your situation. You have said that your mother continues to treat you as seven-year old. For this matter, I sujjest you do not care about it and understand your mother .Beacause in your mother's eyes ,you are always a child .To solve this problem , I advise you to do something as follows .First ,you should learn to accept it that your mother will never change her mind.Second, you can tell your mother clearly that I'm not a little boy now ,I'm 17 years old and I can do much things that adults can do .Third,you help your mother do something importent and let her konw that you have really grown up .Then she may not treat you as a little boy .Blieve yourself and I wish you can solve it soon after you do what I have said .Good luck!
