留学生一听到这个,立刻傻了眼了,He thought:"my god I don't know the good word,I 've studied English for years,but no one told me about the good word."
他犹豫再三,想：就问问他好了.于是他吞吞吐吐地问：Hello,What"s t good word老外听了,很随意地说：OH ,NOT much.
这个留学生就更吃惊了!原来What"s t good word 在英语里,是一句问候语,意思是"你还好吗?

一次,一个留学生在国外的学校第一天上大学,心里又兴奋又紧张.
Once, a Chinese student studying abroad went to university at a foreign country for the first day. Hee was excited and at the meanwhile he was very nervous.
一个美国同学看到一张新面孔.为了表示友好,就问：HI,What's the good word?
When his classmate, an American student, saw him, a new-coming face, the American classmate just asked him, "Hi, what's the good word?" in order to show his amity to the Chinese student.
留学生一听到这个,立刻傻了眼了,He thought:"my god !I don't know the good word,I 've studied English for years,but no one told me about the good word."
Upon hearing this, the Chinese student got a nasty shock right away. He thought, "My god !I don't know the good word,I 've studied English for years,but no one told me about the good word."
他犹豫再三,想：反正我不知道,就问问他好了.
He thought it for several times but without answers before he got one idea in his mind, "I don't know how to answer it anyhow, just ask him and see how he will answer it."
于是他吞吞吐吐地问：Hello, What"s t good word? 老外听了,很随意地说：OH ,NOT much.
Then he spoke to the American student in a halting way, "Hello, What's the good word?" His American classmate responded to him at will: "Oh, not much."
这个留学生就更吃惊了!原来What"s t good word 在英语里,是一句问候语,意思是"你还好吗 "
The Chinese student was even more surprised. Actually, "What's the good word" is a greeting wording in English which means "How are you?"
