紫禁城是中国明代和清代帝王的皇宫,坐落于北京市中心,故宫博物院位于此.紫禁城近五百年来不仅作为各代帝王的家,并且作为当时重要仪式举行地和中央政府所在地.它展示了传统的中国宫殿建筑,甚至对东亚及其他地方的文化与建筑产生了重要影响.紫禁城于1987年被宣布为世界遗产地,并被联合国教科文组织(UNESCO) 列为现今保存完好的最大的古代木制建筑群.　
　　长城是位于中国北部的石制建筑,它被建立最开始用来保护国家北方边界免受各个游牧(nomadic)民族的侵犯, 其始建于公元前5世纪,并从那时一直到到公园16世纪被多次重建与维护,长城最为著名的一部分建于公元前220-206,由中国第一个帝王即秦始皇所建立,但现今所剩无几,遗留的大部分为明朝时代所建.

　　The Forbidden City is the imperial palace of Ming and qing dynasty of China ,it is located in the centre of Beijing,and the national Palace Museum is also there.For nearly five hundred years,the Forbidden City is not only being home of the emperors but also a place where the central government located in and the important ceremony held at that time.It presents the traditional Chinese palace buildings,and even has an impact on the culture and architecture of east Asia and somewhere else.The Forbidden City was declared as a world heritage site in 1987 and listed as the biggest ancient wooden buildings which is well-preserved today by the UNESCO .
　　The Great Wall is a stone building which is located in the north of China ,from the very beginning,it was used to protect the country's northern borders from the offences of nomadic,it was founded in the 5th century BC,and since then it was rebuilt and preserved for many times until the 16th century BC ,the most famous part of the Great Wall was built in 220 BC - 206 BC by qin shi huang--- the first emperor of China,but now,almost nothing was left,and most of them were built during the Ming dynasty.
