这段话不难,请认真看一遍.
SQUIRE TRELAWNEY,Dr Liversy,and the rest of these gentlemen having asked me to write down the whole particulars about Treasure Island,from the begining to the end,keeping nothing back but the bearings of the island,and that only because there is still treasure not yet lifed.
我把这段话分成了三个部分.

关于这段话,我有两个不解之处.
1）第一组句子中为什么一个完整的谓语都没有?having 不应该改成have吗?
2) 第二组句子中,现在分词引导的句子是做什么成分?

楼主分三部分是可以的,我的理解是1）这个句子可以将because后面的第三部分看成主句,而前面两部分是结果状语,这样having asked构成的分词短语在语法上就讲得通了；2）keeping nothing back but the bearings of the i...
