The dictionary plays a very important role in learning English. It really helps me out when I come across some new words. Even for some familiar words, they still have many underlying meanings which we don't usually use. So the usage of dictionaries is not only to look for the new words, but also, and most importantly, to understand the old ones.
I use dictionaries alot in my English learning. I can still remember how poor my English was as I only know a few simple words and can not use them efficiently.Now with the help of dictionaries, things get different. My vocabulary is significantly enlarged, and I know how to use my words efficiently.
