Internet is one of the greatest inventions in the 20th Century.However,this invention also becomes a controversial topic in regards on how it brings both positive and negative impacts to our daily life.Personally,I think Internet is a wonderful invention and it makes our life much easier.
First,people can get information from the internet by just doing mouse-click.The information we can find on the internet will not be less than the information we find in the library.However,the time we spend on the research will be much shorter.Internet helps people to do research effectively.In addition,people can work their schedule better with the internet.People can do research on the internet 24/7 (24 hours a day,7 days a week) while the library will close in certain hours.Therefore,internet provides more flexibility and efficiency in terms of research.
Secondly,internet is able to connect the people from all over the world.Instead of writing letters to the people who are far away from you,you can just send an email to them.In addition,you can also use MSN and/or QQ to chat with your friends.It helps people to communicate with each other effectively.
Third,the information we can get from the internet is unlimited.We can sit at home and still learn about the different cultures.This is a wonderful tool for the people who love travelling.Sometimes you do not have that much money to travel to a city,but you want to learn about that city.You can just research the information via internet in order to learn it.I will say you can stay home and know everything if you have access to the internet.
In conclusion,I think internet brings lots of positive impacts to our life.
