“The success of employing multiples as means of artistic expression isdependent on the refinement each artist displays when manipulating the composition to strengthen and convey meaning”
Your comparative essay must identify and articulate how each of the artists use both the notion of multiples or repetition and composition in their work.
Your discussion should include the following:
1 explanation and justification for your choice of the two artists
2 brief background to the artists that puts their work in some sort of context
3 reference to at least two pieces by each artist that support and illustrates the points you make in your comparison
4 discussion of the key ideas and how those ideas are supported and enhanced by their use of composition
