One possible version:

     Onceuponatime therewasanaughtymonkey. One day he saw lots of apple trees while he was walking home. So he picked an apple. Before he ate the apple he saw some pear trees and he said to himself that the pears seemed more delicious. He threw his apple and picked a pear. Before he ate the pear he thought there must be something more delicious ahead so he threw the pear. Unluckily there was nothing else to eat and he was very upset.
