when引导的就是时间状语从句.比较迷惑的是on the day to the airport,其实这只是一个插入的成分,可以把它放在后面,说话者把这句话放在这里只是想要特别强调,居然在去机场的路上,司机说他迷路了,这换个任何一个要赶飞机的人遇到这种事情,都是庭倒霉的,呵呵!
