On the day people eat Zongzi to remember Qu Yuan. Zongzi is rice dumplings. There are usually different things inside zongzi. In the north zongzi with jujube( 枣 ) or mashed red bean ( 红豆沙） is the most popular.  While in the south people like zongzi with meat or yolk best. That’s traditional zongzi. Dragon boat races are of course an important part of the festival. These boats look like dragons. They race in rivers or lakes. Teams row( 划） their boats as fast as they can to try to win first prize. (58). A drummer often stands at the front of the boat to play the drum ( 鼓 ).
