Dear Mike,
I respect your opinion of friend.However my opinion of friend may be slighly different from yours.
I believe a true friend should be someone who is honest and who you can trust,
someone who listens to you when you need to talk,someone who doesn't
mind it when you blurt out random,meaningless things,someone who is
always on your side,someone who will stay up with you all night when
you're sad and will find a way to make you happy,someone who is easy to
talk to,someone who you like to be around,someone who can make you laugh,
someone who can share their craziness with you,someone who you know best,
and you know them better than anyone else someone who shares your interests
because you can talk about those types of things together.If you both
like to play violin or something like that then you can practice together
and learn from eachother.
Someone who you will always be friends with no matter how far you are from each other even
if you haven't seen them in years.True friends always stick with you and are one of the
most important things to have in your life.There can be more than one true friends in your life.
So,I really don't quite agree with you on one of your aponion.I don't think someone who is only generous to you and buy you bears and meals is your best friend.
