裂缝特征：一般成斜裂逢,且裂缝走向凹陷处.如果地基沉降不均匀,且这些裂逢会随地地基的不均匀沉降的增大而增大.这种裂缝在建筑物下部比较明显,由下向上发展,呈“八”字,倒“八”字、水平、竖逢等.当长条形建筑物中部沉降过大,则在房屋二端由下往上呈“八”字形裂逢,且首先在窗角上突破；反之,当两端沉降过大时,则形成两端由下往上倒“八”字型裂缝,也首先在窗角上突破,也可在底层中部窗台处突破形成由上至下竖缝；当某一端下沉过大时,则在某端形成沉降端高的斜裂缝；当纵横墙交点处沉降过大,刚在窗台下角形成上宽下窄的竖缝.

Characteristic of cracks:Mostly,cracks are inclined shape.and usually they run into the rift of the building surface.If the foundation settlement is uneven,And these uneven lower part of the foundation subside more and more.These kind of cracks appearing on lower part of the buildings are more obvious.They develop from lower part to the upper part.Would look like a V or facing down V ,horizontal and vertical shapes etc etc.When the central settlement of long shape building is too serious,then both ends of a house would show facing up V shape cracks.And first the cracks appear at the corner of the windows.Otherwise,when settlement of both ends are too great,then the cracks of both ends will start from lower part to the upper part,which would be facing down V shapes.They could develop from window corners or bottom parts of the building,or central parts of the building or window sills.The cracks will be vertical and from bottom to top.when one end's settlement is too great,then it would cause other end to have inclined cracks.When settlement of the intersection of two walls is too great,then "wide on the top and narrow on the bottom" kind of cracks will be formed under the corners widow sills.
