According to the recent surveys,modern people are living longer than ever before.There are a couple of reasons which contribute to this tendency.But among so many reasons,to be honest,there are three reasons which are of particular significance.
First and foremost reason is that with the develpment of science and technology,physical equipment which can be used to help examine the problem of people has been improved.Then,if people have some physical problem,it will be easy to draw a conclusion that what is the problem and where is the problem.The medical condition play great roles in the health of people.However,people who lived in the past years had no access to enjoy those advanced technology.Then ,if they were in need of medical help,the condition in that time might make no efforts to the people.
Another reason why modern people are living longer than ever before is that with the rapidly economic development ,modern people have many opportunities to pursue more exercise.They can use less time to do their work because the work effienicy is increased due to computer and Internet.Then they can spend much time to do exercise.For example,go hiking,jogging,swimming,and most important of all,running.The latest statistics shows that people who do more exercise are more healthy than those who only work and study.
In addition,the food safety is been emphasized today.The majority of people are beginning to realize that the food nutrition does play great roles in our health,and an increaing number of people are making efforts to increase the safety of their food,vary the nutrition of food.But in the past time,people didn't put emphasis on the food safety and nutrition.This may reduce the quality of their lives.
To sum up,from what has been discussed above,we may safely draw the conculsion that although many reasons contribute to the longer lives in modern socity,the most important ones are these three:the development of medical equipment,more exercise and the food safety and nutrition.
