其实最后一个分句,改成完整的一个句子后应该是：the rest (computers) were to follow (to be sent to Sichuan) next June.但是作为一个插入语,谓语动词要省略,所以were要省略,所以选C.这里的were(be) to do sth,是一般过去将来时,表示从过去的某一时间来看将来要发生的动作或存在的状态.过去将来时常用于宾语从句和间接引语中.
