最近看到几个句子都用过come to :
1):we've come to know your name and address from somewhere.
这句子和这样说的区别在哪呢?we've known your name and address from somewhere...
2）：he established his empire and come to the throne as an emperor.

这两句里的come to中to是不同的.第一句是come+动词不定式,第二句是come+介词短语.
1. We've come to know your name and address from somewhere.
我们无意中从别处得知你的姓名和住址.
这句可以称为"尼日利亚英语".网上骗人的短信(多数源于尼日利亚)通常这么开头.come to know在这里的意思是"无意中得知",是为了给你一个印象这些骗子不是故意来找你的.正常英语里很少这么用.
come to know和find有什么区别: come to know是被别人告知,find是自己找到.
2. He established his empire and came to the throne as an emperor. (注意come应该用过去时)
他建立了他的帝国,以皇帝的身份登上皇位.
这句话里come to的意思是从别处来到某个目的地."as an emperor"用得不好.throne已经暗指emperor了.可以说came to the throne as a child emperor或came to the throne as the restorer of the peace.
