Tortoise:You’re fast,but you’re lazy.Even I can beat you in a race.
Hare:Ha-ha!How funny!I will win for sure.
At last,they decided to have race the next day.
The next morning,Hare and Tortoise met under the big tree in the park.The race started at 9.Hare was much faster than tortoise.Tortoise tired and tired to run faster.But he had shorter legs than Hare.He was heavier than Hare,too.So he was too slow and far behind Hare.
Hare did not want to run too fast.He went to sleep under a tree.Tortoise ran ahead slowly.He went ahead of Hare when he was sleeping.He kept on going and going.
At 10 o’clock tortoise was at the finish line.Hare woke up.He saw that Tortoise was there first.Tortoise won the race.
Tortoise:I have shorter legs than you.I am heavier.But who is lazier,Hare?
