the road
I finally found the road full of gem
but huge rocks have stopped the way
no choices could bemade by them
in the days and nights they tried to hem
by words in their hearts but did not say.
the road is short,though long it seems,
i tried to write on the rocks my name
as a finder of the gem in bright beams
but all lost in the darkest day dreams,
to where each end stops just the same.
from north to south ,then back again
i followed the green bird like all the rest
hiding my dreams under the sunlight then
on the road I've seen my name and the pen
pinpointing the new roads to the west.
this journey grows now to its end,
as road reflections directing to Rome
give way to roads with greater bend
and empty signs tat still pretend
they point the way to home sweet home.
