    As is vividly portrayed in the picture occupied in chatting on the Internet a boy refuses to talk with his mother. The mother can do nothing but stand behind the boy depressed.

    It is the exact reflection of lack of communication between parents and children. Several reasons contribute to it. First the Internet provides us with a place where we can communicate with different people in which case we are addicted to the virtual world and keep our distance from people around us. Besides pressure from study drives us to seek excitement on the Internet. Also parents busy with their work spare little time to stay with their children.

    As far as I’m concerned some effective measures should be taken by parents and children. In terms of children we should cut back on the time when they play computers and be aware of the negative effects of the Internet. Parents and children should exchange their ideas and feelings regularly.
