Dear Advisor,
As I understand I will be dropped out of the school for a year because of my poor academic performance. It may due to the fact that I just got here so I had difficulties to fully adapt the college life. Language was also problematic, I tried to blend myself into local communities yet not working as I anticipated. I am here all by myself, without any family and friends; sometime I suffered from depression and anxiety problems. Counseling didn't help much either. When I realized my grades were so bad that university is going to drop me, it's like a waking up call for my life. I need to get a hold of myself, mentally, physically and academically. But it might be too late to realize that at the end of this semster, I understand it's university's policy but all I'm asking is a small chance to prove myself. I believe I've overcame those issues now. The best way to ignore the senseless emotions is to devote myself into studying. The night is darkest just before the dawn. My grade will only get better from now on. Could you lend me a hand to let me stay?
