在一个河段上,同时采用高坝和有压引水道共同集中落差的开发方式称为混合式开发.坝集中一部分落差后,再通过有压引水道集中坝后河段上另一部分落差,形成了电站的总水头.这种开发方式的水电站称为混合式水电站,同时兼有坝式和引水式水电站的优点.

The diversion-type hydropower station uses a relatively long diversion pipeline to divert the water to a place where the fall is relatively large to concentrate the head of water for power generation,it can reduce the inundated area of the reservoir area as well as the engineering cost,it’s the usual mode for the middle and small size hydropower station.
The developing mode by using the high dam integrated with the pressure diversion pipeline on the same river section to concentrate the fall called hybrid developing mode.After the dam has concentrated part of the fall,the pressure headrace concentrates the other part of the fall behind the dam,then formed the total head of the hydropower station.The station which uses this kind of developing mode is called hybrid hydropower station,it has the advantage of the dam type as well as the diversion-type hydropower station
