Services for graduate
student instructors (GSIs), include orientation programs in the fall and winter
for new GSIs, a series of seminars on teaching for GSIs during the academic
year, and individual consultations. CRLT also works with individual departments
to help design GSI training programs that are discipline specific. In
collaboration with the English Language Institute, CRLT offers a training
program for graduate students who did not receive their undergraduate education
in English.
