多晶硅制备的主流技术有改良西门子法和硅烷法,但都被国外厂家所垄断,他们既不提供技术也不进行太阳能级多晶硅制合作,导致我国原料生产这一块严重受制于人,到目前为止其核心技术我国还是没有完全掌握.发展新的制备工艺是解决我国多晶硅产业的唯一出路,冶金法制备太阳能级多晶硅具有低成本污染小等优点,但存在工艺上不成熟等问题,因此开发良好的熔炼工艺具有重要得意义.
本文介绍冶金法制备太阳能级多晶硅生长的工艺,冶金法制备的种类,以及跟传统制备太阳能级多晶硅制备方法进行比较,详细叙述冶金法中的真空熔炼的工艺,对不同真空状态、保温时间、熔炼功率等熔炼参数对各种杂质元素的去除效果的影响.综合可得,真空熔炼确实是个提纯硅料的有效方法;并且采用合适的工艺是可以获得良好的效果,在铺助以定向凝固可以将金属杂质进一步去除,满足太阳能级硅材料的要求.

The mainstream technologies for fabricating polysilicon include improved Siemens process and silane process, but both of them are monopolized by foreign manufacturers, these manufacturers neither provide technologies nor carry out co-operation in solar grade polysilicon fabrication, resulting in the production of raw materials in China being limited severely by them, so far the core fabrication technology of solar grade polysilicon in China still did not be fully mastered. The only way out for China to develop polisilicon industry is to develop new preparation process for it. The metallurgy process for fabricating solar grade polysilicon has the advantages such as low-cost and low pollution, but there is the issue of immature technology, as a result to develop good melting process has important significance.

This article presents the growth process of solar grade polysilicon using metallurgy process, the types that can be fabricated with metallurgy process, and makes comparison of metallurgy process with traditional fabrication processes for fabricating solar grade polysilicon. In addition the article describes in detail the vacuum melting process in the metallurgy process, and the effects of various melting parameters such as different vacuum state, temperature holding time, melting power on the removal of various impurity elements. As a whole, vacuum melting is indeed a valid method for purifying silicon; and good results can be got by using appropriate process technology. In the case of combining with directional solidification, metal impurities can be removed further so as to meet the requirements for solar grade silicon material.
