in my opinion,he is not just wise,but more is brave.
afraid of doing means you feel a little bit regret when you have done sth. In chinese is that 后怕. 做了不该做的事,然后被惩罚就怕撒.呵呵

silent 做状语... silently在英文里面都很少用哦,但是quitely在这里可以代替 silent 原因说不出, 语感告诉我.
