Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present.Do you agree or disagree?Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Today an increasing number of people,especially teenagers,believe that history is no use at all.Personally,though the social is developing in so high speed,I think it is vital for us to review the past.
Learning about the past is benefit for ourselves.Due to retrospect the past,we can find some shortages of ourselves.Because of this,we can correct the mistakes we made in the past and be careful when we meet the same problem next time so that we will not misdo again.Spending some time summarizing the things we have done can avoid us making same mistake and it obviously can give us more time to explore the newer stuff.I have a friend called Lisa who studied very hard.She always stay up but cannot get a satisfying grade in tests.The main reason is that she only does new exercise but dislike learning from the old exercise she has done.As a result,though she really does much,none new knowledge has she gained.
Attaching importance to the past also make a country more prosperous.When a flood happen,the president should make many ideas to solve the problem.He may consult the solution that has been used in the past.If there is nothing to consult,it is obviously more complicate to solve this problem.Besides,many famous theory can also be used in order to solve the nowadays problem.The past experiences can provide us with a better living condition.
In sum,though the present is essential,I believe the past is also irreplaceable.Learning about the past is valuable for us.
