       I’m glad to have a chance to introduce one of Beijing’s most beautiful places of interest the Palace Museum to you. As a world-famous historical site the Palace Museum is located in the centre of Beijing and is visited by millions of visitors every year. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties it was served as the royal residence. There are many ancient buildings in the museum which is called a sea of palaces.

       It took many people 14 years to build the Palace Museum which is also called the Forbidden City and it was finished in 1420. The Palace Museum became a museum in 1925 and since then it has been open to the public. Wish you a good time here.
