In our school, 60% of the students believe that the internet slangs should be prohibitted. The long abusively use of internet slangs will make the young generation not know what the real Chinese languge is. Also the use of internet slangs will make the parents difficult communicate with those who do not surf on net. But 40% of the students believe they should not be forbidden, because the society is changing, the languge should keep pace with the times, Chinese langue itself should absorb some new words, and the internet langs are convenient for chatting.
