本论文重点研究学习了TD-SCDMA 移动通信系统的接力切换技术.其设计思想是利用智能天线和上行同步等技术,在对 UE 的距离和方位进行定位的基础上,根据 UE 方位和距离信息作为辅助信息来判断目前 UE是否移动到了可进行切换的相邻基站的临近区域.

TD-SCDMA is the 3rd-generation mobile communication standards proposed by China with independent intellectual property rights. And it is actively promoted by government and highly focused by many research institute all around the world. Relay Switch is one of the essential
parts of TD-SCDMA,and it has very smart algorithm to make sure the reliability and efficiency of call switching between two adjacent Base Station, and in this way the quality and the capacity of service is significantly improved.
Relay Switch is what this paper mainly talks about. The key point of Relay Switch logic is:
1. Get UE's poision and distance relative to the Base Station, utilizing Smart Antenna
and Uplink synchronization.
2. Use the UE's poision and distance as input value of the judgement whether UE has moved to the crossover area of two adjacent Base Station.
3. If yes, do the Relay Switching.
