Abstract:Ningbo Mandarin is a relatively important dialect in the Wu native dialect region.Under the influence of Putonghua (Standard Mandarin),significant changes can be noticed in pronunciation,nouns,grammar,intonation and speech frequency of Ningbo Mandarin,resulting in a trend towards acclimatizing with Putonghua.This essay broadly analyses the few major area of Ningbo Madarin change,with the aim to heighten the awareness for the conservation of native dialects.
