Online shopping or online retailing is a form of electronic commerce whereby consumers directly buy goods or services from a seller over the Internet without an intermediary service. One of the most obvious advantage of internet shopping is its convenience. Online stores are usually available 24 hours a day, and many consumers have Internet access both at work and at home. Another advantage of online shopping is that consumers can shop for the lowest prices and the best deals without doing it physically . While it has its advantages, consumers are faced with fraud and security concerns. Customers rely only on pictures and/or descriptions of the product they are buying. They cannot touch or feel the product.
While internet shopping has its advantages and disadvantages, still the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Consumers should exercise caution and prudence when it comes to internet shopping.
