He is an Asian,and I am an Asian as well.But we don’t come from the same country.Actually he is Korean and people call him Hyung Chane.
Hyung Chane was my first buddy before I came to LCS.When I first saw him,I thought that he was a Chinese.This is because he looks like a Chinese.Usually I could identify the difference between Chinese and Korean.Then,I spoke very standard mandarin to greet him,to my great surprise,he didn’t understand what I said,I then realized that he must be a foreigner.
Since then,I find that we have a lot of similarities and differences; he uses chopstick to eat food,and I also use it to have my food,but he often brings his own chopstick to school,and I never.He doesn’t like Japanese,because Japan had invaded South Korean during the WWII,I don’t like Japanese too,because my father hates them.We like sports,I am good at basketball and he is good at soccer,he even doesn’t know how to play basketball.He can write some simple Chinese words but,he cannot pronounce them,he just knows the meaning of them.I don’t understand Korean at all,but I can sing some traditional Korean songs which my grandfather taught me.
I notice that we also have some Asian in common.Sometime,we can understand each other without much talking.But we use the Asian way of concept to think and solve the problems.We dint like to laugh at other people or gossip about others.
I envy that he has a brother; I can’t have a brother or sister,because it is illegal.I always ask him about his brother,but he doesn’t seem to talk much.I am mean; Ii don’t usually like to share my stuffs to other people unless he/she is my friend.But Hyung Chane likes to share his stuffs to everyone.He is an “obstinate person sometimes.It’s difficult to change the way that he often does.But,I am not; I’d like to take an advice from anyone.
Here are some interesting things,he is good at music,but he has Art as HS subject,and I am good at Art,but I have Music as HS subject.In Asian culture,people don’t usually greet their friends and classmates,so we never greeted each other.Therefore,people sometimes think that we are not respectful.
It is not easy to make a friend in your life,especially,to make a good friend.So you have notice all the details from your friends,make sure that he/she is the person you can’t loss in your life.
